A new type of media that can be created is a virtual reality MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game). These are role-playing games where a massive amount of people can play at the same time. While there are some online games that can support virtual reality, a new type of media would be an MMORPG where you can truly immerse yourself into the video game- where you can interact with the world in the game as if you were really there. You wouldn't need to use a controller at all, all you have to do is move as you normally would in real life. In this sense, it is as if you were transported into another world and you have the option to explore. While this level of immersion isn't currently possible, it is fun to think about.
